With the new Sculk Expension Cave+ update, you'll be able to discover all-new features.
Deep Dark Finder:
The Deep Dark Finder has just arrived! It lets you detect Minecraft's Deep Dark biomes...
To do this, it scans the chunk you're in, looking for Sculk! So yes, it doesn't actually locate the biome directly, so if you find yourself in a chunk that contains Sculk, make sure it's a Deep Dark biome or an ancient city, and not a player who may have placed Sculk blocks.
Note: The Deep Dark Finder does not scan other Sculk types, only the basic one.
Sculk Finder Helmet:
Thanks to the Warden's head, a shear and a forging table, you can obtain a horn enabling you to craft the Deep Dark Finder...
It can now be combined with the Sculk armor helmet, so you don't have to use up a slot in your inventory. Please note that the Deep Dark Finder is only compatible with the Sculk helmet and not with other minerals.
